Day 1: Arrival

You will have an arrival service by one of our teams to be transferred and stay a night at your hotel.

Day 2: Muscat Classic Full Day

Next morning after the breakfast meet your guide in the beginning of your day at 8:30 am the tour starts from your hotel heading towards the first stop of the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque which is considered as one of the largest and most charming mosques in Oman. It was built in 2001 as a gift from the former Sultan Qaboos to the nation. This glorious Mosque is an impressive piece of Islamic architecture. You will walk inside the mosque premises with our guide by going through five minarets and ending in the breathtaking main prayer hall where you will gain lots of knowledge about Oman and the Islamic culture in general.

Then in a drive, the tour will take you the spectacular Royal Opera House Muscat which has been built under direction from our late majesty, the Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The opera house reflects contemporary Omani architecture, and it has a capacity to accommodate 1,100 people at once. Through the tour, you will navigate inside to see the represented art of melody, which the late majesty, Sultan Qaboos bin Said, has always been a fan of and, in particular the classical ones.

Then, the tour will take you in a drive through one of the famous beach sides of Al Qurom to view the sea and the Mangrove Reserve. Then, the drive goes all the way allowing you stunning views of Muscat the capital.  You will then reach at the fish market the old Muttrah to give you a taste of the Omanis ways of buying and selling daily and fresh fish. Then, you will visit Souq Muttrah, the Muttrah Market, which is one of the oldest markets in Oman which is about 220 years old. Inside the market, you meet lots of traders selling souvenirs, traditional textiles, incense, frankincense, jewelry of silver and gold, etc.

After the Souq, you will have a local lunch where you will experience the local food in one of the local restaurants to have a real taste of Omani and oriental dishes.

After the lunch break, the tour will allow you a photo stop at Al Alam Palace, one of Muscat’s old historical parts. It has a history that goes back to over 200 years; it was built by Al-Said Sultan bin Ahmed Al Busaidi, and then it was renovated by the formal Sultan Qaboos bin Said AL Said in 1972 to be as an official place where distinguished visitors and guests can be received. This is a tourist destination which allows tourists to stop near the gates and take photographs to witness its unique architecture of golden and blue pillars. Al Alam Palace is surrounded by the-16th century forts, Al Jalali and Al Mirani which was built by the Portuguese.

Then, the tour provides you with two options. The first one is to pay a visit to Bait Al Zubair Museum, the heritage and cultural center. It was founded by Al Zubair family in 1999, where its family’s collection of Omani artefacts in the country are showcased to be as a real window on Oman’s rich heritage and culture. The second option is to visit The National Museum of Oman which the county’s flagship cultural institution, showcasing the Sultanate’s cultural heritage from the earliest evidence through to the present day. Finally, the tour ends by a drive back to the hotel.

Day 3: Muscat Coastal – Bimah sinkhole- Wadi Shab and Turtles   

This trip starts after your breakfast by heading towards Bimah Sinkhole, which is a beautiful water well filled with turquoise water. You will move towards Wadi A Shab (optional) and a wonderful walk through the wadi. For walking, appropriate shoes for hiking and swimming are recommended going through the wadi, you will be able to see the natural pools and you can enjoy a refreshing swimming in the clear water. You can also swim towards a narrow valley to go extreme towards a cave by swimming underwater. After rest, you will be back to your vehicle and then enter Wadi Tiwi for a photo stop to enjoy the natural beauty of green valley of Wadi Tiwi village.

Next stop will be in Sur Region, famous town known for ancient trade in Oman. This town is also famous for Dhow Building Yard that exhibits the architectural. Heads to a secluded lagoon in the nearby location surrounded by mountains and small watching towers with many old floating Dhows.

Continue your journey to reach the next destination at Ras Al Jinz and relax at your hotel for some time. After dinner time, will have a chance to go for turtle watch. It is an attractive seen to watch the turtles it is one of the largest green turtles reserves in the world that come to the shore to lay their eggs in this spot. You can have a chance for next day early morning before sun rise and rarely you will be able to see the hatchlings that are coming out of the sand and moving to the water.

Day 4: Wadi Bani Khalid – Desert Wahiba Sands

After your breakfast, meet your guide the journey starts to Wadi bani Khalid, which is one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman and it is a wadi full of water throughout the year. You will be able to relax there in the green pool and go around the wadi by walk to see the waterfall and greenery. After some time, your journey will be continuing to Al Sharqiya Desert Sands- Wahiba to explore the desert and experience its attraction. You can enjoy an adventurous trough the golden dunes in your 4×4 vehicle. Arrive to the hotel desert camp where you stay check in have some relax then jump into your car for the most amazing sunset watching over the dunes will give you an unexpected soothing experience. Overnight stay in the desert camp will give you a memorable experience.

Day 5: Ibra – Nizwa

After your delicious breakfast, meet your guide you will leave the desert and head towards Ibra for a closer look at Al Minzfah, which is an old village of historical importance as the small houses over there are made up of clay. The journey continues to Nizwa, Nizwa region is a beautiful town which is located in the outskirts of Oman about 180 km away from Muscat. It was the earlier capital of Oman. Then you will be visiting the Nizwa Fort which was constructed in the 17th century with an exquisite architectural proficiency. The circular main tower is the most attractive architectural part of this fort. Next destination is the Market Place in Nizwa which is popular as ‘Nizwa Souq’. Wonderful traditional items such as Khanjars (daggers), pots, crafts, traditional jewelry, spices, dates and household items are available in the souq. Nizwa souk is also famous for cattle auction in the early morning on Fridays. Overnight in Nizwa.

Day 6: Bahla- Jibreen- Al Jabel Al Akhdar- Muscat

After your breakfast, the journey starts with your guide to Bahla, which is a charming little town. The most prominent tourist attraction here is the the Bahla Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage Pre-Islamic Fort surrounded by a wall of 9km, you will continue your journey to visit Jibreen to see a 16th century castle which was once a home of the Imam Bilarab Bin Sultan Al Yarubi. It was constructed to be a palace at first and used for military purposes. There is a tomb still located in the castle. It was considered to be an oldest school in Oman.

Then drive to reach to an attractive abandoned village of Birkat Al Maouz. It refers to as the ‘Pool of Bananas’ in English. This name is derived earlier due to the banana plantations thrived there in the past. It is located in the scenic surrounding location between Nizwa and Izki. These remains are more than fifty years old and you can find old structures of the ancient houses with traditional Omani decorations that provide an insight for you to understand the life of the people in Omani Villages. Its home to the ancient Falaj Al Khatmain, an irrigation system which is listed as the site of the UNESCO World heritage. Birkat Al Maouz is located in the foothills of Al Jebel AlAkhdar the beautiful green mountains. Date plantations and oasis in this place are the tourists’ favorites.

The winding road over a stretch of 32 km would lead us to the next tourist destination, AL Jebel Alkhdar, also referred to as the ‘green jewel of the Al Hajjar Mountain Ranges’ located 2000 m above the seal level. Driving through the mountain is an exciting and sporty experience by which you can see the lush greenery and experience the cool climate. Way to jebel Akhdar seasonal times will enable you to see the beautiful fruit orchards with figs, appricots, grapes, plums, almonds and walnuts. Terrace plantations, and natural springs through Aflaj water irrigation system.

Provide incredible experience to the tourists. AL Jabel Al Akhdar is famous for pomegranates and rose season in the months of March and April. Beautiful landscape, wadis and mountains are the tourist attractions of Saiq and Al Ain villages of this region. This trip ends after a wonderful sightseen after lunch head to Muscat for an overnight.

Day 7: Departure

Pick up from your hotel by one of our team to be transferred to the airport.

Kindly observe a dress code while visiting the mosque; Long sleeves tops and full-length trousers for both men and women.
Women are additionally required to use a headscarf.  (Ladies fully covered and to carry a long headscarf and men in full-length trousers.)

It is advisable wearing light comfortable clothing towels with swimming suite and a walking shoes with flip flops, sun screen for Wadis and desert sightseeing.
